WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Twice a year the Arizona Precision Motorcycle Drill Team conducts a six week Skill Enhancement course free of charge for whomever wishes to attend.  We have riders of all ages and skill levels attend this program, some coming long distances outside the Phoenix metropolitan area.  We conduct this training because it is our desire to help other riders become more skilled in areas that are sometimes neglected, but are often the most needed skills to posses.  We find great satisfaction watching the abilities of our students grow from week to week. It keeps us motivated and looking forward to cooler weather and our next course.  Occasionally we are surprised by special thanks and kind words from our students after the course has been completed, such as this letter we received from Don.

Don John

To the members of the Arizona Precision Motorcycle Drill Team who participated in the last Six-Week Motorcycle Skills Enhancement Class:

It has always been my desire to be a good rider but admittedly at my age I will never be able to achieve the competency of  your drill team. You absolutely amazed me as I stood almost mesmerized watching you as individual riders practice on Thursday evenings before the Six-Week Skills Enhancement Class.

I want to thank you again for helping me, as well as others, increase our riding skills.  You told us what to do, showed us how to do it, instructed us individually as needed, and then encouraged us along the way.

It has truly been inspiring to see so many of you faithfully showing up every Thursday night for the last six weeks to train us, all the while receiving no personal monetary compensation.   Other organizations charge hundreds for the same or lesser training than you provided. It was truly my pleasure to have had the opportunity of donating to your drill team on the final night.

Arizona Precision Motorcycle Drill Team, you are the best!

A better rider because of you,

Don John

Thank you for the kind words Mr. John.  It was a pleasure to have you as a student and to work with you.   You are always welcome and we hope to see you again next time.  For as long as you are riding and have the will, you can improve at anything you do!
