Booking the Team
Thank you for your interest in possibly scheduling a performance by the Arizona Precision Motorcycle Drill Team.
For us to present a quality program for your spectators, we have formulated the following field size and special requirements. It should be noted that these measurements and special needs are minimums under which both crowd and performer safety and enjoyment are the prime determination.
Field Sizes and Layouts:
We offer two distinctly different programs:
Our "Special Teams" maneuvers are designed to be presented in a limited space, and are particularly suited to smaller gatherings where field size may be restricted. The minimum requirements for these performances is a flat field of concrete or asphalt pavement measuring no less than 80' by 100', free of obstacles such as parking curbs, light stanchions and the like.
The following diagram shows minimum needs for our Special Teams Maneuvers:
Our "Performance Routines" are designed for larger open areas, and consist of a series of maneuvers choreographed together to demonstrate the full range of rider competence and machine capability. Our performances normally begin with a presentation of the Colors to the audience, followed by the routine itself culminating in a formal park and salute to the onlookers.
The minimum requirements for these full field performances is a flat area of concrete or asphalt pavement measuring no less than 100' by 250', free of obstacles such as parking curbs, light stanchions and the like.
The Team provides field markers and traffic cones for delineating the field to be used. Spectator barriers, seating if desired and restroom facilities as required are the responsibility of the event promoter. The Team also furnishes its own sound system and announcer for the presentation.
